Studio Terms


LOVERSHAUS THE STUDIO

Rental Terms & Conditions

By booking, entering, or using LOVERSHAUS The Studio ("Studio"), the booking party ("Renter") and all guests, clients, vendors, and attendees agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. Booking & Rental Time

  • Rental time begins promptly at the scheduled booking start time and ends promptly at the scheduled booking end time.

  • Entry before the scheduled start time is not permitted unless approved in writing by LOVERSHAUS The Studio.

  • All setup, shooting, breakdown, cleaning, and load-out must occur within the reserved rental period.

  • The studio must be fully vacated by the booking end time.

  • Overtime is subject to availability and will be billed accordingly.

  • Disturbing or interfering with another booking before or after your session may result in additional fees and/or removal from the premises.


2. Payments, Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Full payment is required to confirm a booking unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Studio rental payments are non-refundable.

  • One reschedule may be permitted with at least 72 hours notice and is subject to studio availability.

  • Rescheduled bookings must be completed within 60 days of the original reservation date.

  • Bookings cancelled within 72 hours of the reservation are not eligible for rescheduling.

  • No-shows forfeit all payments made.


3. Reset & Cleanliness

The studio must be returned in the same condition it was received.

The Renter agrees to:

  • Return all furniture, props, décor, and equipment to their original locations.

  • Dispose of all trash before leaving.

  • Clean any spills or messes created during the rental.

  • Leave all floors, walls, furniture, and surfaces in clean condition.

Failure to properly reset the studio may result in a reset fee beginning at $25.

Additional cleaning fees may be charged for:

  • Excessive trash

  • Glitter

  • Confetti

  • Fake snow

  • Powder products

  • Smoke residue

  • Food waste

  • Body oils, tanning products, makeup transfer, or staining

  • Any excessive cleaning required beyond normal use


4. Furniture, Props & Equipment

  • Studio furniture, props, and décor may be moved carefully during the rental period.

  • Furniture must be lifted when moved and never dragged across floors.

  • All items must be returned to their original locations before departure.

  • The Renter assumes responsibility for damage caused to any studio property during the rental period.

  • Studio equipment may only be used as intended.


5. Damages

The Renter is financially responsible for any damage caused by themselves or anyone associated with their booking.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Walls

  • Floors

  • Furniture

  • Props

  • Equipment

  • Windows

  • Doors

  • Fixtures

  • Bathrooms

  • Exterior areas


Repair, replacement, cleaning, labor, and loss-of-use costs may be charged to the Renter.


Furniture Staining/Damage Clause

Any staining caused by self-tanner, body oils, makeup, hair products, food, beverages, paint, or similar substances may result in cleaning or replacement charges.


6. Cyc Wall Usage

If the studio includes a cyc wall:

  • Normal scuffs and marks are expected.

  • Excessive damage, gouges, holes, paint transfer, or unusual wear may result in repair fees.

  • Clean shoes are required on the cyc wall.

  • Dirty shoes, painted shoes, muddy footwear, or materials that may permanently mark the surface are prohibited.

  • Any set construction, painting, drilling, or alterations must receive prior written approval.


7. Prohibited Activities

The following are prohibited unless approved in writing by LOVERSHAUS The Studio:


  • Open flames

  • Candles

  • Fire effects

  • Firearms

  • Explosives

  • Illegal substances

  • Smoke bombs

  • Glitter

  • Confetti

  • Spray paint

  • Body paint

  • Animals

  • Large events or parties

  • Hazardous materials


The Studio reserves the right to immediately end a booking for prohibited activities without refund.


8. Permitted Uses

LOVERSHAUS The Studio is a creative rental space designed to support photographers, videographers, content creators, artists, entrepreneurs, brands, and creative professionals.


The Studio may be used for a variety of creative and professional purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Photography sessions

  • Videography productions

  • Content creation

  • Branding and marketing shoots

  • Editorial productions

  • Commercial productions

  • Social media content

  • Influencer and creator projects

  • Styling sessions

  • Wardrobe fittings

  • Hair and makeup appointments

  • Workshops

  • Creative education

  • Product launches

  • Client meetings

  • Small gatherings

  • Private events (with prior approval)


The Studio is intended to be a versatile space for creative work and collaboration. Uses not specifically listed above may be permitted upon approval by LOVERSHAUS The Studio.


The following uses require prior written approval before booking:

  • Events

  • Workshops with attendees

  • Classes

  • Vendor pop-ups

  • Networking events

  • Large productions

  • Gatherings exceeding normal studio occupancy


LOVERSHAUS The Studio reserves the right to decline activities that may pose safety concerns, excessive wear and tear, disruption to neighboring businesses, or conflict with the intended use of the space.


9. Occupancy & Guests

  • The booking party is responsible for all guests attending the session.

  • Guests must comply with all studio rules and policies.

  • The Studio reserves the right to refuse entry or remove individuals engaging in unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior.

  • Maximum occupancy limits must be observed at all times.


10. Security & Surveillance

  • Security cameras may be present in common areas and studio spaces for safety, security, and damage verification purposes.

  • No cameras are located inside private changing areas or restrooms.

  • By entering the premises, all parties consent to video surveillance where legally permitted.


11. Assumption of Risk

The Renter understands that photography studios contain equipment, furniture, electrical systems, and production-related hazards.

The Renter voluntarily assumes all risks associated with use of the Studio and agrees to use the premises safely.

Children must be supervised at all times.


12. Release of Liability

LOVERSHAUS The Studio, its owners, employees, and representatives shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury

  • Illness

  • Property damage

  • Theft

  • Lost items

  • Equipment malfunction

  • Business interruption

  • Acts of other guests

  • Weather-related issues

  • Power outages

  • Internet interruptions

Use of the Studio is at the Renter's own risk.


13. Lost & Abandoned Property

LOVERSHAUS The Studio is not responsible for items left behind.

Items found may be held for a limited period and may be discarded, donated, or disposed of if unclaimed.


14. Commercial Usage

Renting the Studio grants access to the physical space only.

All photographs, videos, and content created during the rental remain the property of the creator.

The Studio reserves the right to photograph the space and use images of the Studio itself for marketing purposes.


15. Right to Refuse Service

LOVERSHAUS The Studio reserves the right to refuse service, deny entry, or terminate a booking for violations of these policies, unsafe conduct, illegal activity, excessive damage, harassment, or behavior deemed harmful to the Studio, its staff, or other guests.


16. Deposit & Card Authorization

LOVERSHAUS The Studio reserves the right to place a temporary authorization hold or require a security deposit for certain bookings, productions, events, or rentals at its sole discretion. Any unused portion of a security deposit or authorization hold will be released following inspection of the premises.


17. Charge Disputes

The Renter agrees to contact LOVERSHAUS The Studio directly regarding any disputed charge before initiating a chargeback with their payment provider. Documentation including photographs, video footage, invoices, receipts, and booking records may be used to substantiate any charges related to damages, cleaning, overtime, or policy violations.


18. Content Creation Clause

Furniture, sets, décor, props, and studio layouts may change without notice. Specific furnishings or setups shown in marketing materials are not guaranteed to be available during every booking.



Agreement

By booking, entering, or using LOVERSHAUS The Studio, the Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and accepts responsibility for all individuals associated with their reservation.
